Mesquite has been the proud home to the Minor League Football Hall of Fame for the last three years. Minor League Football teams converge on Mesquite every December to celebrate a great weekend of football and ceremonies. Mesquite hosted the inaugural Southwest Showdown and Turkey Flag Football Event.
